I have only worked with this style of yarn once before but I have a feeling it will always pose a challenge. Long ago my grandmother taught me to crochet and I took to it like a duck to water, but she also tried to teach me to knit. I just couldn’t get it, and being young and foolish I decided that I didn’t need to know how.
It wasn’t long ago that I decided to learn, and it was a challenge to say the least. Namely because I was teaching myself, but eventually I got the hang of it.
Last year I started working with this style yarn, and while I love the texture it creates the problem is the knitting it up. This is worked with a garter stitch, 11 stitches across, on US size 6 needles in case anyone else wants to try it.
Because as my daughters t.v. shows say practice makes perfect, and I will get used to this yarn. I won’t let a fiber get the best of me.
