In a few days I will be turning 26. I don’t really enjoy celebrating my birthday much. It is not because I am turning a year older, but more because I don’t really like being the center of attention. I am the type of person that likes to stand at the edge o the crowd, and I don’t see anything wrong with that.
My doctor told me the ab challenge might be too much with the dehydrating effects of my medications, so I have switched to yoga. I don’t know how many of you out there are amazon prime users but they have some pretty good yoga videos if you are interested in it. It is also good for me mentally with its meditative qualities.
A few years ago I learned that controlling my bipolar is a mix of medication, mental discipline, and physical activity. Lately I have been slacking on the last two, so yoga really seems like a good solution for both.
Now onto what I will be doing in July. I still plan on doing something like the 30 day photo challenge, but there is something bigger that I have planed. Starting the 30th I will be joining the work force. Although it will only be part time and seasonal, it is perfect for me. A good way to make use of the natural energy that comes with summer to prepare for winter.
Living in a place that relies mostly on tourism means that winters can be tough, so you need to do as much as you can in the summer to make ends meet in the winter. While my working means new financial difficulties I need to do it for my own sanity. Also I don’t mind doing laundry, it is kind of soothing. Unlike the other household chores, laundry is one that I enjoy doing.
I do hope to be posting more tutorials/patterns soon. I have some partially written, and some that are just bouncing around in my head. Summer is the type when I have so much energy I tend to take on the world, and not all of it gets done. But I promise to try and have at least one craft thing posted next month.
